hugs

Hi everyone! Happy October 1st! I'm back with another post... it's the first of the month so you're stuck with me for one more after this one, lol! It's time for another fun challenge over at Love To Craft Challenge Blog - can you believe we're launching our third challenge already?! I'm super stoked to share my DT inspiration project for LTCCB #3 - October Anything Goes! Come play with us! When we reach 100 followers, we'll have a giveaway! We're almost there! :)

I used the absolutely adorable 'Pocket Patooties Doll" from The Stamping Boutique for my hugs card. Everybody needs a hug every now and then. For no reason whatsoever. Just to let them know they are loved! ;)

I love these bold black and white papers, and thought they really made this image and the light blue cardstock pop. I added my signature bow with some white hemp cording looped behind it. I also went sequin-crazy, lol! Really loving how this turned out!

For the inside, I used a scrap of the dotted paper from the front and stamped a sentiment. Then I layered the panel on some of the light blue cardstock.

I'd love to enter this card into the following challenges:

Recipe:
  • Cardstock/Paper: GKD Pure Luxury White and Powder Blue cardstock, The Paper Cut Diagonal Stripes and Black Mini Dots patterned papers
  • Stamps: The Stamping Boutique Pocket Patooties digital image, Paper Smooches Delightful Greetings stamp set
  • Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black ink; Spectrum Noir- FS2, FS3, FS6, CG4, TB2, TB3, PP3, PP5, CT3, CT4, PL4
  • Dies/Punches: Memory Box Stitched Oval Layers dies
  • Accessories: Silver Wink of Stella, Really Reasonable Ribbon Glory Blue Seam Binding and white hemp cording, Silver sequins

I hope you've enjoyed this project and have found a little inspiration to play in our October Anything Goes challenge! We'd love to see you! Remember, we welcome all kinds of handmade projects - from cards, tags, ATCs and scrapbook layouts to 3-D projects, mixed media canvases and altered projects - and even knitting, crocheting and jewelry! We want to see whatever you're working on! And you're welcome to enter up to five different projects and combine our challenges with as many other challenges as you'd like! Thanks so much for stopping by - we'll see you again real soon! ;)
Scrappy hugs,
Leslie
