Girls Night Out

** 9/30/16 Top 3 at Your Scrapbook Place! **

Hi everyone! Happy Monday - my wish for you this morning is to have a wonderful week! I'm stoked to share some awesomely wonderful news... I've joined the Let's Craft and Create design team! Woo-hoo, I'm so excited! Our challenges are a month long, going live on the 5th of every month, and feature the first set of gorgeous DT inspiration projects. A second team has been organized to present mid-month inspiration on the 19th, so you get to feast your eyes on a second set of beautiful creations by these talented ladies! I'm absolutely thrilled to be among them!

I'm super stoked to share my DT inspiration project for Challenge #117 - Spots or Stripes! I used both spots and stripes for my friendship card. I used the beautiful SweetStamps 'Sasha Glam Girl' digital image in a black and red color combo with lots of layers.

What a gorgeous image! I embellished her with a bouquet of pretty flowers, a double loop bow, some ruby red gemstones and a bling flourish. I'm really pleased with how this turned out! ;)

I decorated the inside with some leftover pieces of the papers used on the front, and stamped a sentiment.

I'd love to enter this card into the following challenges:

Recipe:
  • Cardstock/Paper: Spectrum Noir Ultra Smooth Premium White cardstock, Marco's Black cardstock, Stampin' Up! Stacked With Love DSP
  • Stamps: SweetStamps Sasha Glam Girl digital image
  • Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black ink, Spectrum Noir- CR7, CR8, CR11, CT3, CT4; Copic Black Multi-Liner pen
  • Dies/Punches: Memory Box Stitched Oval Layers die, Spellbinders Labels Twenty and Lacey Circles dies
  • Accessories: RRR satin Swiss Dots (Primary Assortment), clear Wink of Stella, Red gemstones, Want2Scrap bling flourish, white fun foam

I hope you've enjoyed today's project and have found a little inspiration to play in our Spots or Stripes challenge this month! Thanks so much for stopping by - we'll see you soon as I'll have another post a little later this morning!

This card is for sale at Hippie Chick Designs! :)
Scrappy hugs,
Leslie
