Thank You Berry Basket

Hi everyone! Happy Hump Day - hope you're having an awesome week! I'm super stoked to be guest designing for Crafting by Designs and happy to share my inspiration project for the "3 or More Layers" challenge! Come play with us and show us what you got! ;)

I created an adorable berry basket which I filled with Sea Salt, Chocolate & Pretzel Bark to give as a thank you. I got the Sizzix Berry Basket Bigz die a couple months ago and haven't had a chance to use it, so I thought now would be a great time!

I used the Stampin' Up! Hardwood background stamp on both sides of all the pieces so it would look like wood. After assembling the basket, I adhered pink twill around the top edge over the scalloped borders. I'm in love with the multi-step flowers in this stamp set from Stampin' Up! I used first, second and third generation stamping technique for the largest flower, and first and second generation stamping for the stems and leaves which I loosely colored with a Spectrum Noir marker, then layered them on the side of the basket. I stamped the sentiment on a hand-cut fish-tail flag and tucked it under the uppermost flower and added two clear gemstones.

Here's a shot of the basket without the candy. How cute is this?! I definitely see more of these in my future! :D

Proud to enter this sweet berry basket into the following challenges:

Recipe:
  • Cardstock/Paper: Crafter's Companion Kraft cardstock, GKD Pure Luxury White and Bubblegum Pink cardstock scraps
  • Stamps: Stampin' Up! Hardwood background stamp, Stampin' Up! What I Love stamp set (#141276)
  • Ink: Stampin' Up! inks- Baked Brown Sugar (#131174), Rose Red (#126954) and Garden Green (#126973), Memento Tuxedo Black ink, Spectrum Noir LG3
  • Dies/Punches: Sizzix Berry Basket Bigz die
  • Accessories: RRR Totally Twill Pink Ribbon, Stampin' Up! Rhinestones (#119246)

Hope you have found some inspiration to create a project with three or more layers for our challenge! Thanks so much for stopping by today - we'll see you next time! ;)
Scrappy hugs,
Leslie
