one-of-a-kind

Hey everybody! Hope your week is off to a great start! Life is so full right now and I feel so blessed! I'm happy to share with you today a Really Reasonable Ribbon DT inspiration project. I used the absolutely gorgeous (and I mean this color is gorgeous) Noble Peacock Seam Binding. Seam binding is my all-time favorite kind of ribbon and I love to wrinkle it by spritzing it with water, wadding it up and then hitting it with short bursts of heat from the heat tool which sets the wrinkles.

I'm really loving my stitched dies. I can't get enough of them, lol! I have circles, squares, rectangles and just got the ovals which I can't wait to use. I created a fun focal image using a stamp and three zig-zag sewn coordinating papers from Stampin' Up! and several circle die cuts (most from the stitched dies). I rounded one of the corners of the card base and added my signature bow and some pearls.

Here's a close-up of the big fluffy bow I created with my Bow-it-All v2.0. This bow is a little fluffier than normal. I sure do love that tool! ;)

I fancied up the inside just a bit with some of the diagonal stripe paper layered on the Island Indigo cardstock and a stamped sentiment layered on that panel.

Proud to enter this card into the following challenges:

Recipe:
  • Cardstock/Paper: Spectrum Noir Ultra Premium White cardstock, Stampin' Up! Island Indigo cardstock, Stampin' Up! All Abloom DSP (#133703), DCWV Teal Foiled cardstock
  • Stamps: Stampin' Up! A Dozen Thoughts stamp set (#131059)
  • Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
  • Dies/Punches: Memory Box Stitched Circle Layers
  • Accessories: RRR Noble Peacock Seam Binding, Janome 124 Sew Mini sewing machine, MISTI, Fiskars Corner Rounder, white fun foam, Stampin' Up! Pearls (#119247)
