happy day gift bag

** 3/30/16 Top 5 at Aud Sentiments Challenge Blog! **
** 3/30/16 Spotlight Winner at Ruby's Rainbow! **

Hi everyone! It's time for another fun challenge over at Really Reasonable Ribbon! I'm super stoked to share my DT inspiration project for #137 - Welcome Spring with Ribbon or Trim! Dig into your crafty stash and come play with us!

There's no better way to welcome Spring than with flowers and a 'happy day' sentiment! I created an adorable little gift bag using the absolutely gorgeous Pearl Pink Double Faced Satin Ribbon from the March Ribbon Club Assortment. This satin ribbon is heavenly! ;)

And of course, I created my pretty double loop bow with my Bow-it-All v2.0. I say all the time that I love this tool and don't know how I ever got along before having it, lol! I embellished the center of this one with an adorable heart button.

All these pretty flowers are stamped. I used first, second and third generation stamping technique for the largest flower (with multi-step stamps), and first and second generation stamping for the leaves (also multi-step stamps). I stamped off once for the medium flower and used full strength ink for all the small flowers. I fussy cut the large flower and all the other flowers are punched. I thought the bling flourish was the perfect touch. :)

Here's one last (angled) view, so you can see just how stinkin' cute this little bag is, lol! Love it! :)

Proud to enter this sweet gift bag into the following challenges:

Recipe:
  • Cardstock/Paper: Marco's White Antique Linen cardstock, GKD Pure Luxury White cardstock scraps, white vellum scrap
  • Stamps: Stampin' Up! Garden in Bloom stamp set (#139433), Stampin' Up! Petite Petals stamp set (#133155), Stampin' Up! Endless Birthday Wishes stamp set (#140273)
  • Ink: Stampin' Up! Rose Red ink (#126954), Stampin' Up! Garden Green ink (#126973), Memento Tuxedo Black ink
  • Dies/Punches: Lawn Fawn Goodie Bag die, Stampin' Up! Petite Petals Punch (#133322), smallest flower punch from the Stampin' Up! Itty Bitty Accents (#133787)
  • Accessories: RRR Pearl Pink Double Faced Satin Ribbon, MISTI, Hero Arts white embossing powder, Stampin' Up! Sweet Dreams Designer Button (#137857), Want2Scrap Bling Flourish

what a fun gift bag you have here. Love the embellishments! Sorry for this delayed comment but just want to thank you for blessing us with this entry on our previous Challenge at Word Art Wednesday. Hope to see you back in our new Challenge. Want to share a Word from the Lord found in 1 Samuel 2:9 and it says, "He will guard the feet of his faithful servants, but the wicked will be silenced in the place of darkness. "It is not by strength that one prevails." Have a blessed day!
