Classic Happy Birthday

** 5/25/14 Winner at One Stitch At A Time! **

Hello everyone! I'm here this morning to share my Love To Scrap! Challenge Blog DT inspiration project for LTSCB #30 - Anything Goes! We're being sponsored this time by the amazing Lawn Fawn and Stitchy Bear's Digi Outlet! Come play with us - you know you love some Anything Goes! It doesn't get any easier than this... absolutely no "challenge" whatsoever! ;)

I made a very cool masculine birthday card using kraft, warm cocoa and navy blue cardstock with coordinating plaid and checked papers. I found some Piccolo gears in my stash that I think compliment the papers and image very nicely, along with some nailheads.

This awesome image is from the Transportation Stamp Pack by Reece's Scrap Pieces with Stitchy Bear's Digi Outlet. Don't you just love it?! What a bad-a$$ old truck! Would LOVE to have one of these to drive every day! :)

And here's a peek at the inside - just a simple Happy Birthday sentiment.

Proud to enter my Classic birthday card into the following challenges:

Recipe:
  • GKD Pure Luxury ivory, warm cocoa and navy blue cardstock; The Paper Cut Brown Bag (kraft) cardstock
  • GKD Casual Friday and Pool Side 6x6 papers
  • Old truck digi from the Transportation Stamp Pack by Reece's Scrap Pieces with Stitchy Bear's Digi Outlet
  • Copics: C1/5/7, E33/35
  • Spellbinders Labels Eighteen and Classic Ovals dies
  • Bombshell Stamps King of the Road stamp set
  • Stamp Camp Simple Sentiments 1 stamp set
  • Memento Tuxedo Black ink
  • Globecraft Memories Piccolo Steampunk Gears
  • Mark Richards nailheads

Well, that's it from me today. I hope you've found a little inspiration to come play with us in our Anything Goes challenge! And don't forget to check out all the wonderful stamps, dies and paper at Lawn Fawn, and of course all the amazing digital images at Stitchy Bear's Digi Outlet! Thanks so much for stopping by today - we'll see you next time!
Hugs,
Leslie

Masculine cards were never my favourites to make but I lost my terror of them last year when I had so many milestone male birthdays. Love the blue and kraft together Thank you for joining us at OSAAT this week and good luck with the challenge. Christine x DT
