Merry Christmas

Yep, Christmas in July! ;) I created another adorable Tilda card today to enter into a few challenges. I am having so much fun with these stamps, plus I'm getting some much-needed Copics blending practice. I used a record number of Copics for me on this card - 22 colors! And I have to  confess - I used the "Tilda With Wedding Gifts" stamp and made her gifts into Christmas gifts! I used a bookplate from my stash and painted it with Gesso, then dabbed gold Adirondack ink and walnut stain distress ink on it. I cut the "Merry Christmas" sentiment from a scrap piece of the patterned Christmas paper that I used for the background. That was a fun little project in itself! I had a great time today while hubby was working!

I'm entering "Merry Christmas" into the following challenges:

Recipe:
  • Gina K Designs Pure Luxury ivory, kraft and chocolate cardstock
  • Neutral patterned and plain Christmas papers from stash; brown patterned paper from stash; Echo Park Dots & Stripes 6x6 paper
  • Magnolia "Tilda With Wedding Gifts" stamp
  • Memento Tuxedo Black ink
  • Copics: E000/00/07/11/29/33/99, YR01, YG11/13/17, R00/20/22/24/27/32, G05/12/14/20/24
  • Spellbinders Classic Scallops dies
  • Magnolia Doohickey Tilda Lace Die
  • Ranger Walnut Stain distress ink
  • Cuttlebug Swiss Dots embossing folder
  • Leaf flourishes cut with Cricut Expression and "Wall Decor & More" cartridge
  • Assorted Wild Orchid Flowers
  • Bookplate, Gesso, Adirondack Gold Mixative ink
  • Crocheted lace; ribbon; Christmas stocking charm from stash
  • Rox Ice Chocolate Delight gemstone; Want2Scrap LeCreme flat-back pearls

Thanks so much for stopping by - see you next time!
