Floral Ornaments Note Cards

I played for a little while in the scrap room today and created another Blockheads DT inspiration project - a set of three CAS note cards for the current Blockheads Technique Challenge - Stamping on Fabric hosted by design teammate, Karen McAlpine. Come play with us! These were super simple and super fun to make, with only four items on the supply list! Visit the Blockheads Stamping on Fabric Techniques page to check out Karen's tutorial.

Scroll down for individual photos of each card.

I used three stamps from the beautiful Blockheads Floral Ornaments Full Sheet stamp set. I stamped the three images on muslin fabric with black VersaCraft ink and trimmed them. I adhered each image on a piece of dark grey cardstock cut the same size, then hand cut frames from dark grey cardstock for each. I adhered the frames on top of each image and then matted each unit on white cardstock. I cut mats for each card base from dark grey cardstock and adhered them to the card bases, then affixed the matted focal images onto the fronts of the cards with dimensional foam pads. I finished the cards with three red flat-back pearls on the lower right.

Recipe:

  • Gina K Designs Pure Luxury white and dark grey cardstock
  • Blockheads Floral Ornaments Full Sheet stamp set
  • Black VersaCraft ink
  • Want2Scrap red flat-back pearls

I may have another project to post within the next few days, so stay tuned! Thanks so much for stopping by - see you next time!
Hugs,
Leslie
