Friends are flowers in the garden of life

Okay, Blogger has gone to their new format - just as I finally got comfortable with the old format! We are definitely on the downhill slide to the end of April... sure is hard to believe how fast this year is flying by. It's time once again to post my first DT inspiration card for this week's 2 Sister's Challenge #88 - Use A Digi, sponsored by Robyn's Fetish and Di's Digi Downloads! Come play with us! I chose the adorable Robyn's Fetish "Heloise Garden Gal" digi for my card, as she reminded me of a friend I used to work with who loves working outside in her flower beds. I made the shimmery background by spraying Blue Smoke Perfect Pearls Mist onto the Mini Flutterby Crafter's Workshop Template. I also sprayed Sunflower Sparkle Perfect Pearls Mist onto a couple Petaloo flowers and then stamped them. Kind of neat!

Recipe:

  • Gina K Designs Pure Luxury ivory cardstock; light blue textured cardstock; silver mirror cardstock
  • Green woven-texture patterned paper
  • Robyn's Fetish "Heloise Garden Gal" digital image
  • Copics: E00, E11, E35, YR09, Y15, B91, B95, G24, YG11, R23, R25
  • Sakura Stardust pen
  • Spellbinders Labels Eighteen and Ribbon Tag Trio Two dies
  • Sentiment from GKD Friends Are Flowers stamp duo
  • Memento tuxedo black ink
  • Mini Flutterby Crafter's Workshop Template
  • Petaloo Color Me Crazy flowers - smaller one stamped with a square stamp from the Blockheads Grunge It Up stamp set and the larger one stamped with the Stampabilities background faded text stamp
  • Perfect Pearls Mist in Blue Smoke and Sunflower Sparkle

Thanks so much for stopping by - see you next time!
Hugs,
Leslie
