It's time to post another inspiration project for this week's Dutch Dare Card Challenge DDCC #153 - Sketch. This Challenge is sponsored by Sassy Studio Designs and I chose the sassy little "Back To School Brittany" digi image for my card! What fun I had making this 'tween' card in shades of purple! What a cute image! And I love sketch challenges because they make cardmaking so easy! I used one of the new embossing folders I got at the Heirloom Paper Arts Festival two weekends ago on some yummy purple shimmer cardstock!

  • Gina K Designs Pure Luxury ivory cardstock; DCWV dark purple shimmer cardstock; light purple textured cardstock
  • Sassy Studio Designs "Back To School Brittany" digi image
  • Copics: E01, V12, V15, V17, Y15, E35, R27
  • Spellbinders standard circles, classic rectangles and scalloped rectangles dies
  • Sentiment from the GKD Autumn Leaves stamp set
  • Memento tuxedo black ink
  • Cuttlebug Traffic Jam embossing folder
  • Ivory and purple sheer ribbon
  • Purple flat-back pearls and small gemstones

What a sweet card Leslie. Love the framed border around the image and how you've used the ribbon and sentiment. Hugs Bettina
